Eco II Manufacturing was founded in 1980 as an extruder and producer of high-quality polyethylene films. Over the next 15 years, the company grew considerably and began to serve many Canadian customers as a reliable local and national partner. However, the company felt that to truly transform the plastics industry, it needed to focus on disrupting standard market demands, particularly in the field of plastic bag manufacturing. Thus, the company decided to incorporate in 1995 and add a series of bag machines to better align its production capacity with its business objectives.
